Places to Eat

  • Teskes Germania. Our choice for authentic German food with liter steins and imported schnapps. During Oktoberfest season they have live bands performing folk music in lederhosen.
  • Original Joe’s. Eating at Original Joe’s is like stepping into a time machine, I like to think eating here is like what it was like to eat next to Tommy Devito or Michael Corleone in the 70’s. We especially like to eat at the counter where you get to mingle with the chefs.
  • La Victoria. This place is all about the ORANGE SAUCE, it’s a San Jose staple. What ever you eat here, you MUST eat is with the ORANGE SAUCE.
  • Los Cubanos
  • Gordon Beirsh. San Jose’s own microbrew. The brewery is just a few blocks from our house, and certains times in the night, the delicious scent of brewing grains is in the air.

  • Fahrenheit Lounge
  • Trial’s
